BYDS has invited Jenna Fondren with Crime Stoppers back to our school to host this workshop. She will discuss tips for how you, as parents, can monitor your child’s internet use.

Last semester, she presented the same topic to the 3rd – 5th graders and this semester will meet with Kindergarten – 2nd grade.

It is important to reinforce this message for the whole family, so we hope you will join us for this important topic. She will cover all the latest and most popular apps kids use most often, Facetime/video chats and the dangers associated, secret apps, online gaming and online challenges/pranks. We also go over safety settings, and tips for parents on how to monitor their child’s behavior as well as popular cases in the news.
