Like all independent schools, we have a great many annual needs that extend beyond the funds raised through tuition and must be accounted for through the Annual Giving campaign. We use that expression “bridge the gap” (between tuition dollars and the full cost of education) over and over again, but truly Annual Giving is much more than a tagline or a brief elevator speech; it is the lifeblood of all independent schools, all of which require a successful annual Campaign. Unlike tuition and other school-related fees, Annual Giving is totally discretionary. We each decide what we can afford and how we can participate. And, remember, participation is the key. Our goal is 100% parental participation. Every gift counts, no matter how large or how small.
Let’s look at some of the areas where dollars raised in the campaign assist our school to provide the best educational experience possible.
Our outstanding teachers are able to attend educational conferences across the country and then bring state-of- the-art teaching techniques to the classrooms.
We employ a professional counselor who works with kids in and out of the classroom and assists in both academic and other individual areas in their personal lives.
We retain the services of learning specialists who work with students who benefit from enhanced assignments or additional support to their normal studies.
We not only teach Hebrew and Judaic studies, but plan programs to provide students with an important foundation in Judaism and a love for Jewish teachings.
We monitor technological advancements to ensure that our school keeps up with and accesses all the latest educational tools in the classroom and labs.
We teach our students art, music, physical education, science, Spanish and provide well-rounded opportunities in addition to a traditional curriculum.
We provide assistance to those families who want their children to receive the best
educational experiences, but would not be able to send their kids here without such aid.
