My name is Erica Goldberg, BYDS Director of Marketing & Development. Though I graduated from BYDS almost 30 years ago, I joined the BYDS family as a parent in 2014. Over the past 7 years, I’ve been privileged to watch my school (my second home) continually advance with sincere thought and innovation. You heard about it also at Orientation and Back-to-School Night. We continue to push the envelope and enhance our programs in every way. Let me share a few highlights:
The New BY DreamStarter • Responsive Classroom • 21st Century Learning • JSTEAM and the BY DiscoveryScape • Personalized Learning Plans • Faculty & Staff Continued Professional Development • Early Childhood Sensory Room • Digital Portfolios • National Elementary Honor Society (NEHS)
See what I mean? Did I mention dedicated, qualified teachers, small class sizes, a safe and comfortable environment, a focus on individual achievement, lifelong friendships and community, and a place that builds and cultivates Jewish identity and a strong connection to the State of Israel?
A day at BYDS doesn’t just happen. YOU make it possible. Investing in your child’s BYDS education is a gift beyond measure. Just ask an alum.
We are asking you to contribute to our 2021-2022 Annual Giving to continue to enrich our community even more. In order to help you plan your contributions, we would like to share with you our scheduled fundraisers for the year.
August: We kicked off our 21-22 Annual Fund by showing our appreciation for our more than 75 Leadership Circle donors. We invite you all to make a gift to BYDS – any amount that is meaningful to you and your family. www.byds.org/donate
Saturday, March 12, 2022: “Party Like It’s 1999”
I hope you will join me in participating in these events. With your help, we can reach our goal of 100% participation from parents, faculty, and board of trustees to support our community that offers so much. You can make your BYDS 2021-2022 Annual Gift anytime at www.byds.org/donate.
Thank you for being part of the BYDS Family.
