We had such a fun morning celebrating our DEAR Dads! CDO through Pre-K got to show their classrooms off to their guests and explain all the fun activities they do in their classes. Each group also got to feel like a red carpet celebrity posing for their DEAR Dad picture.
Kindergarten – 3rd Grade welcomed their guests into their classrooms with a fun presentation of their filled-out questionnaire and worked on a Dad Lib together.
4th Grade’s presented their visitors with a poem recalling fond memories of their childhood. These were inspired by the poem, “I Remember”.
5th Graders gifted their beloved dads with a framed written piece. The poem “Instructions To An Artist” by Billy Collins was the inspiration for the 5th graders writing directions to an artist on how to draw their fathers by describing their dads’ personalities.
